What if you have to keep them in that role ... for four years??Insane, right? Well ... welcome to politics in 47 of the 67 counties in Florida.

If you live in the counties shown in red, you have the “POWER OF RECALL” - the ability to vote to remove corrupt or incompetent elected officials.

If you live in a county shown in blue, you have NO RIGHTS TO VOTE to remove bad apples. You’ll ... have to wait 4 years.

What are the current laws in Florida?

Both the Florida and Federal Constitutions uphold citizens’ rights to assemble, instruct their representatives, and petition for the redress of grievances. Therefore, we view the prohibition against non-charter counties from recalling county officials as a violation of fundamental constitutional principles, including the 14th Amendment’s guarantee of equal protection under the law.
